A very thought provoking essay, and I’ll likely be contemplating this for quite some time. Thank you for the research and for giving us your fine writing.

I’m reminded of another mystical Vedic tradition, in which the levels of reality are laid out, ascending from the more coarse and dense upward into the spiritual realms. And they warn that just as each of these coarser realities is an illusion, don’t think that heaven isn’t the same thing once you arrive.
