Before this life, there was a meeting. A couple dozen people sitting and standing around a long table.

Most were tired of the whole thing, tired of trying and trying and trying, and failing repeatedly.

I spoke up and said, “Yeah well, I’m going back in. Maybe I’m dumb, but I think there’s still hope.”

Because the alternative was to reboot the whole thing and start over. With a new model. Beginning, once again, with caveman, clubs and fire.
