I have an inexplicable intuition that past events are available to us to influence. I mean this literally, in the sense that we can actually change the past.

What prompts me to mention this is that I find hints of this in your writing. I’m not suggesting you either agree or disagree with my somewhat outlandish statement, but rather it’s as though we all, each of us, have a sense of a lurking, hidden, inexplicable awareness that lays just outside the shadows of our consciousness.
