An unrewarding truth

It’s a very unrewarding truth: that the deeper retreat from reality we live finds most of us floundering in a tragic game of hide and seek, condemned to living in a world that shames open minds and lauds the poverty of ideals. But too bad. I refuse to give in and become bitter and mean.

After some years of living, and a bit of forgiving, it’s really much easier to see, that the confusion in life, indeed most of the strife, comes from a paradox known simply as me.
