Much to be disturbed by here, but that word ‘alter’ says a lot, doesn’t it? As in, “Henceforth we can even alter and transform original records. Let’s see, you say you were born in the United States? (Fiddles with DEL key) Oh sorry, there is no record of that. It does seem, however, that you were born in one of those nasty pariah states. Oh my, that’s quite troubling.”
