The reality is that for all the great benefits, the odds are you will become or remain poor and in debt. I’ve been doing this for nearly ten years, in part because office politics drove me crazy. So, yeah, a lot of that stuff goes away. But other things take its place. Is a greater sense of self determination and self reliance worth the probability of barely scraping by?
