Thoughtful individuals or herd animals?

There’s a huge difference between ‘everyone getting along’ and ‘everyone thinking the same way.’

Facebook cares little about what’s good for people, and far more about what’s good for Facebook. I believe they represent a clear danger to the individual.

Yes, it’s free — but is it liberating? Yes, it’s hugely popular, but does it encourage creativity? Yes, everyone can ‘blog’ in the same big room, but do we have anything to say anymore?

Facebook has cunning. We’ve been reduced to proving our value to the world by using a Facebook contrived model: showing everyone how great, happy and successful I am.
